Martin Davalos will not be racing in Indianapolis
After an incident in the Dallas round Martin Davalos has been struggling with an injuries. For those that don’t know, Martin’s name is usually one in contention for podium spots. Since the 1st round of the 250east class he hasn’t finished better than 5th place.
He announced on his social media that since Dallas he’s been fighting his injury . He also stated that he’s been racing against the advice of doctors. Specifically he “sustained 3 herniated discs in my C-spine that’s caused neuralgia in my left arm and a torn MCL in my knee”.
We hope Indy will be the only round he misses. This year has been full of injuries in both classes. Martin Davalos is a fierce competitor that we enjoy seeing out there.
He didn’t give a definite date on return. At the moment we only know he’ll return to the bike when he feels like he did in Dallas. For more updates keep checking back on Supercross.com
