Washington DC: In a shocking and surprise press conference, Jeremy “RC” McMichael has announced his plans to ride for Team CZ starting in 2003. The multi-time champ from the USA has decided to relocate his entire racing operation to CZ’s headquarters in the Czech Republic. McMichael had this to say: “Since I was a little kid, I’ve always dreamed of riding for CZ. They represent the true essence of what motocross racing was, is, and always will be. I know this is a dramatic change in the lives for both me and my family, but it’s something we’ve always wanted to do. Begining in 2003, I will race the entire Czech Republic National MX series, in addition to a few select races in Europe. I will return once a year to race in the States at that big race that everyone else races at.”

He continutes: “I’d like to thank all my sponsors here in the US that have supported me for so long. I’d also like to thank CZ for the committment they have made to the future of motocross. They made me a financial offer that was too good to pass up, and I look forward to the opportunity to add the Czech Republic National MX Championship to my other titles.”

None of this is true. It’s APRIL FOOLS!
