Celebrities, X Games 16 Athletes and Media Rally in Support of Fourth-Annual Charity Event
The V Foundation for Cancer Research and STAPLES Center Foundation will once again join forces to host the annual X Games 16 Kick-Off Bash on Wed., July 28, from 6-9 p.m. in the main lobby of the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, a new venue for the benefit and the X Games 16 Vert competitions. Guests at the fourth-annual charity event will be treated to exclusive VIP meet and greets with X Games 16 athletes and celebrities, while experiencing private viewing of the BMX Freestyle Vert practice taking place inside the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.

In addition to the sought-after VIP meet and greets with the X Games athletes including Brian Deegan, Rune Glifberg, Tanner Foust, Ashley Fiolek and Mike Mason, guests will receive a special gift bag, enjoy a specially created menu including hosted beer and wine, and have an opportunity to bid on premium silent auction items including a 12-person suite and two parking passes to WWE Summerslam, two Bronze and after-party tickets to the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, a signed basketball by Kobe Bryant, signed tennis racket from Andre Agassi, signed Steve Young Wheaties Box, Joe Montana signed jersey and more. Music will be provided by DJs from the World Famous KROQ.

Net profits will support the work of two important charities, the STAPLES Center Foundation and The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Media such as 710 ESPN, Sirius Satellite Radio among others will be covering the event.
Tickets may be purchased in advance only and are available at www.ticketmaster.com/xgames. Ticketmaster and facility fees have been waived for this special charity event. Prices are $100 for adults 21 and over and $55 for ages 20 or younger and those not wishing to consume alcohol.
