“The Boost Mobile FMX Tour presented by Monster Energy will definitely make some noise and bring even more action to this year’s Taylor’s Finish Line Festival,” said Damion Roberson, lifestyle and cause-marketing manager, Boost Mobile. “Boost Mobile believes strongly in supporting the local community and is proud to be a part of this year’s festival.”

You’ve seen freestyle motocross on TV, but nothing compares to the thrill of seeing these superstars in action, up close and personal. Watch as they roar up the ramps and launch their powerful 250cc & 450cc motorcycles into the most amazing aerial stunts ever seen: including the “Superman,” Rock Solids, Multi-Back flips, No-footed Nac-Nacs and the famed back-flip “Kiss of Death” (to name but a few).

Superstar featured riders, X Games Gold Medalist Matt Buyten, Boost Mobile athlete, X Games Silver Medalist and Metal Mulisha rider Jeff ‘OX’ Kargola, X Games rider Jim ‘The Real Deal’ McNeil and IFMA rider, John Distler will be soaring high and truly risking life and limb with every breathtaking jump.

“I was able to see their show just last week while we were in Phoenix and it is incredible. We’re thrilled to have the Boost Mobile Tour make a special stop at Taylor’s Festival and perform for everyone in attendance that afternoon,” said J.D. Gibbs. “This is a big deal as they’ve agreed to add our festival to their busy tour schedule and we really appreciate their support. We feel their show alone adds so much value to the entire day, but when you think about the BMX exhibition and the concert by Toby Mac that evening in addition to all the rides, events, and appearances by NASCAR personalities, we really think it is going to be a very special day for everyone. The best part of it of course that everything is going to support Make-A-Wish Foundation and Levine Children’s Hospital.”

In addition to high-flying dirt bikes, fans can pick-up some sponsor ‘swag’ and score autographs from their favorite superstar riders after the show.

Taylor’s Finish Line Festival was created by J.D. and Melissa Gibbs, who wanted to host a family-friendly event to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Levine Children’s Hospital. The Gibb’s family was greatly affected three years ago when J.D. and Melissa’s youngest son Taylor was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Fortunately, Taylor is currently in remission and the festival will celebrate the completion of his 3 year chemotherapy treatment. Charlotte Motor Speedway, along with JGR’s sponsors, partners, and friends in the community, will assist the Gibbs family to host the event on the grounds of the Speedway’s drag strip on the Sunday afternoon following the NASCAR Sprint All-Star race. Gates will open at 2:30 PM immediately following NASCAR’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

There will be dozens of activities for both young and old. In addition to the Boost Mobile Tour show, events will include more than 40 carnival like amusement rides and games, inflatibles for the children, BMX and skateboard exhibitions, appearances by NASCAR drivers and personalities, and live entertainment across three stages throughout the afternoon culminated with a live concert by Grammy Award winning recording artist Toby Mac beginning at 8pm and a fireworks display that will close out the night in explosive fashion.

Tickets will be $25 for everyone ages 6 and older, while all children 5 and under will be free but will still require a ticket. All ticket information can be found at 100% of the money from ticket sales will go directly to each of the two charities.
