American Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced its continued support of several amateur motocross racers under the Rockstar Suzuki racing umbrella. Suzuki has supported amateur motocross racers for more than 30 years, helping grow the careers of such stars as Travis Pastrana, Nico Izzi, Ryan Dungey and many others.

“American Suzuki’s support of amateur motocross racing is a vital component of our overall racing activity and a special showcase of our RM product lineup” said Pat Alexander, Sports Promotions Manager for American Suzuki’s motorcycle division. “Suzuki builds highly competitive motorcycles and ATVs, and our support of racing shows enthusiasts just how competitive they can be on the racetrack with Suzuki products.”

For 2009, the Rockstar Suzuki racing program supports 16 riders from across the United States. Returning to the program are past champions Ian Trettel, Nick Paluzzi and Austin Politelli, among others. New to the Suzuki family are Jesse Masterpool, Gannon Audette, Jace Owen, Rookie White, Jeremy Martin and Tristan Miller.

“I’m really excited for the upcoming year” said James Hanson, Rockstar amateur motocross team manager. “Rockstar Suzuki has once again put together a very strong team and I look forward to continuing our championship winning ways in 2009.”
