Cypress CA: The partnership between Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA and
Yamaha of Troy has been extended. Yamaha of Troy provides a team
foundation for rising motocross talent in the 125 class on Yamaha YZ
motocross bikes.

YOT has produced a host of titles and groomed many of today’s top
factory riders, including current AMA Supercross Series Champion Chad
Reed. (Chad won the 125 East supercross series in 2002 for YOT.)

“We’re honored to be part of Yamaha. Yamaha is not only a great
organization but an exciting company, and we look forward to continued
success,” explains Phil Alderton, owner Yamaha of Troy. “Yamaha has an
all-new YZ125 for 2005 that weighs only 196 lbs, 10 lbs lighter than
the 2004. Out of the box, that’s lighter than any factory bike we’ve
ever raced! We can’t wait for the gate to drop next year as our plan is
to race both the two-strokes and four-strokes at Anaheim.”

“Yamaha of Troy is an outstanding team and we are confident they have
the tools to win,” says Keith McCarty, Yamaha Racing Division Manager.
“We know YOT can carry the Yamaha banner in the 125 class which enables
the Yamaha Factory Race team to concentrate on the 250cc class with our
new YZ250 and YZ450F. Our goal is simple: putting four different YZ’s
on the podium next year.”
