World MX GP Round 12 results – Belgium

Everts – 10th World Motocross Championship …



It couldn’t of been any sweeter for Stefan Everts. Winning a tenth
world championship. Winning his 12th Grand Prix of the season with
double moto sweep. All in front of his home crowd, in his last season
of racing, at the historic Citadelle circuit in Namur, Belgium.



As a show of respect for the record breaking Belgian, FIM Motocross
President Wolfgang Srb & Youthstream President Giuseppe Luongo held
a ceremony for Stefan, in which they have retired the number 72 – it
will never be used again in MX Grand Prix racing.
