World Motocross – Round 8 – Sweden

Mickael Pichon wins his 21st career Grand Prix on the Uddevalla circuit. He is now the most successful rider in French history, passing the previous record of 20 GP wins by Sebastien Tortelli.





It was a very close race the entire way in the 500 class between Stefan Everts and Joel Smets. Everts took the checkered flag, with Smets just a few bikes lengths behind.





New Zealander Ben Townley won the 125 Grand Prix.
