125′s: Mickael Maschio becomes the 2002 125 World Motocross Champion. He finished fourth today. Steve Ramon won the event, and finished just four points behind Maschio in the title chase.
With Mickael Pichon’s 250 World Title, 2002 marks the first time France has had two current World Champions.
250′s: Mickael Pichon won the 250 Grand Prix today. It’s his ninth win in a row, and 11th of the season.
500′s: Javier Garcia Vico won his first ever Grand Prix with the win in the 500 class. It’s also the first 500 Grand Prix win by a rider from Spain.
