US Open Supercross
Published September 26th, 2004
Chad Reed won both nights of the 2004 US Open in Las Vegas, riding the ’05 model Yamaha YZ 250. Looked great, and rode great!
Ricky Carmichael’s first race with Suzuki was both good and bad. He finished second Friday night (good, especially his first supercross in a year, and on a new bike). He was running second Saturday night, but a broken clutch stopped the bike, and caused him to drop out.
Nick Wey on his new Honda ride finished second overall, with Mike LaRocco third overall.
In the 125 class, Greg Schnell won the main each night to easily claim the overall.
In the 85cc class, Dominic Izzi won all four motos.
We hope you like our little 2004 US Open Las Vegas supercross road trip. It’s all about the fun in Vegas!
