Travis Baker Signs 2-year Deal with Troy Lee Designs

The Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda Team is excited to announce the signing of Travis Baker to a multi-year deal to ride West Coast Supercross and the Lucas Oil Outdoor National Series.

“I used to race with Travis’ Dad back in the day, and Travis rode for us back when he was on 80′s,” says team owner Troy Lee. “He is a determined kid from a great family and we are really happy to have him on our team.”

“My amateur career went pretty well,” said Travis. “I walked away with quite a few championships, and a lot of second places my last year. And now this year was my first year as a pro. I think I showed some good speed, but I had a few crashes which had me out for a few rounds. But I know I can build on that, and keep working to be up front and have a solid season this year.”

“I know I can be in the top five at every race, and I want to try and grab some podiums,” Travis says. “I’ve learned a lot in the past year and I’m pretty excited for next year. I’m gonna work hard and go for it; try my hardest and have fun.”

“I wore TLD gear a long time ago, so I know the gear is great. I’m really excited to be wearing it again and working with Troy. He always has the best designs.”
