Supermoto for a day

The brand new sport that’s sweeping across America. We had to go.



Supermoto is mostly pavement, some dirt, big bikes, lots of stars. It’s fun!



This was round 5 of the AMA/Red Bull Supermoto series, held at Irwindale Speedway in southern California. It was quite a scene: lots of people, lots of name riders, a great Supermoto track, OLN television, industry folks, live bands, skateboarding, freestyle mx, and a raffle that benefited victims of the recent fires in the area.



Doug Henry, a former national motocross champion, won his first ever Supermoto!



The Supermoto Unlimited (over 500cc) was won by German KTM rider Jurgen Kunzel.
