Carmichael win streak at three
250: Four races into the 2005 season, Ricky Carmichael has left his mark as the dominant rider in the world of supercross. Ricky won his third straight race of the season tonight, and leads Kevin Windham in the series point standings, 95 to 79.
Second place was defending supercross champion Chad Reed. Chad had the holeshot, and was leading until lap eight, when Carmichael edged past. Reed is third in the point standings, with 69 points.
Third place went to Mike LaRocco. Kevin Windham fell early in the main, eventually finishing ninth. Not racing tonight: James Stewart (broken arm), Travis Pastrana (broken wrist), Tim Ferry, and Jeremy McGrath.
