Ryan Villopoto – 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Champion

At the 13th round of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA/FIM Supercross Series, Ryan Villopoto won the main event aboard his Kawasaki KX450F. With the win, he clinched the 2012 Championship; his second Supercross title in a row.

Anaheim 1 – First
Phoenix – Third
Los Angeles – Fourth
Oakland – Third
Anaheim 2 – First
San Diego – First
Dallas – First
Atlanta – Second
St. Louis – First
Daytona – Fifth
Indianapolis – First
Toronto – First
Houston – First

And he clinched the title with four more races left in the series!

Ryan won the 2006, 2007, and 2008 AMA Motocross Championship in the Lites class, along with taking two regional Supercross titles before moving up to the premier class in 2009. He has also helped Team USA win the Motocross of Nations on four different occasions. In 2011, Ryan won the AMA Supercross Championship and the AMA Motocross Championships in 2011 as well.
