James Stewart wins the St. Louis Supercross. Bubba is now in 4th place in the series, 16 points behind Supercross series leader, Ryan Villopoto who finished 3rd. Ryan Dungey rode hard once again, as he finished in 2nd place and passes Chad Reed for 2nd in the points standing. Justin Barcia wins the 250 East Regional Main Event and increases his points lead over Dean Wilson.
Edward Jones Dome
The Edward Jones Dome is home to the NFL’s St. Louis Rams, but once again Supercross has invaded! In the Supercross class, Trey Canard had the best qualifying time today with a best lap of 47.517 seconds. Bubba had the 2nd best qualifying time with a 47.605 second lap time. Can Trey keep it up and win 2 Supercross races in a row?
Ryan Sipes gets first gate pick in the 250 East, with a 48.649 second lap time. Blake Baggett had the second best lap time (49.158), while the 250 East Supercross series leader, Justin Barcia, had the 5th best lap time (49.923).
250 East Qualifying Heat 1
Blake Baggett (57) takes the holeshot in this six lap qualifier. Baggett and Warton (21) battle for the first few laps. As Matt Lemoine (48) starts to close in on Wharton, he comes up short after a jump. Matt goes over the handle bars and hits the ground hard.
On Lap 5, Baggett opens it up the throttle with a best lap time of 48.802 seconds.
As the checkered flakes falls its Blake Baggett with the heat 1 win, followed by Blake Wharton and Darryn Durham (37) rounding out the top 3 spots. Bright, Anderson, McCabe, Clements, Myers and Kilbarger also qualify for tonight’s main event. Matt Lemoine has to try to qualify for the main via the LCQ.
250 East Qualifying Heat 2
Vincent (245) takes the holeshot, but Juston Barcia (17) quickly takes the lead, with Dean Wilson (15) and Ryan Sipes (25) battling for second. Ryan Sipes finishes lap 2 with a 48.563 lap time.
Justin Barcia takes the checkered flag in heat 2, followed by Dean Wilson and Ryan Sipes. Also qualifying for tonight’s main event is Audette, Hewitt, Vincent, Smith, Ripple, and J. Sipes. Malcolm Stewart finishes 19th and has to go to the LCQ.
Supercross Class Qualifying Heat 1
The holeshot of this eight lap race goes to Kevin Windham (14). After the first lap its Ivan Tedesco (9), Kevin Windham, Tommy Hahn (12), Michael Byrne (26) and Ryan Villopoto (2).
On lap 4 itÃ¢Â€Â™s a battle for 2nd place between RV and KDub. RV makes the pass, as KDub makes a mistake and losses time. On lap 5 James Stewart (7) makes a beautiful pass on RV, that makes the crowd go wild as he takes the lead!
At the checkered flag its James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto in second, and a great ride by Ivan Tedesco who rounds out the top 3. Also going to the main is Windham, Reed, Tommy Hahn, Peick, Byrne, and Izoird. Kiniry and Nick Wey just miss the main and have to go to the LCQ.
Supercross Class Qualifying Heat 2
Ryan Dungey takes the holeshot in this 8 lap qualifier, followed closely by Austin Stroupe (74), and Davi Millsaps (18).
On lap 3 Stroupe makes a mistake, Trey Canard (41) takes advantage and makes the pass. It’s lap 4Ã‚Â and Ryan Dungey (1) has increased his gap on Millsaps who’s in 2nd. On lap 5 Trey Canard closes the gab between him and Davi. Lap 6 Trey makes the pass on Millsaps.
Ryan Dungey wins the Heat 2 by a mile, with Canard in 2nd, and Millsaps 3rd. Austin Stroupe, Andrew Short, Mike Alessi, Regal, Blose, and Simmonds qualify for tonight’s main event. Gilmore finishes, 10th just missing the cut and will join Jason Thomas and the rest in the LCQ.
250 East LCQ
Winning the DC Shoes “Refuse to Lose” LCQ is Futrell (89) followed by Matt Lemoine (48). Catanzaro (330) gets the Asterisk Gas card for his 3rd place finish.
Supercross Class LCQ
Nick Wey (27) wins the DC Shoes Ã¢Â€ÂœRefuse to LoseÃ¢Â€Â LCQ advances to the main event along with R. Kiniry (62). Gilmore (374) goes home with the $250 Asterisks gas card for 3rd place.
250 East Main Event
The holeshot goes to Justin Barcia, in this 15 lap main event! In the first corner he’s followed by Myers (678), Baggett, Wharton and Sipes. Sipes takes 2nd on Lap 1 and then quickly passes Barcia for the lead!
Barcia catches Sipes on the 3rd lap and takes back 1st place. On Lap 5, Barcia and Ryan Sipes start battling side by side! Wilson makes his way to 4th, with Wharton in 5th. ItÃ¢Â€Â™s a close race for the top 4 riders! Lap 10,11 and 12 Bagget goes in for a pass on Sipes and doesnÃ¢Â€Â™t make it, leaving them so close as they battle for 2nd place. Barcia is way out in front, racing his own race.
The checkered flag falls and its Justin Barcia winning the main event! Ryan Sipes finishes in 2nd, Blake Bagget in 3rd, Dean Wilson 4th, and Blake Wharton 5th.

Supercross Main Event
As the gate drops for the 20 lap Supercross main event its Ivan Tedesco who steals the holeshot. He is followed closley by Ryan Dungey and James StewartÃ‚Â in 3rd. James quickly passes Dungey for 2nd and makes his way effortlessly past Tedesco for 1st!
On lap 2, Chad Reed passes Tedesco for 3rd and begins closing the gab between himself and Ryan Dungey who’s in 2nd place. By the 5th lap, RV is solid in 4th place with Tedesco close behind. Reed makes a mistake and lands on a side barrier, he quickly is back on the track and RV gets close! RV passes Reed on Lap 8!
On lap 10, its Stewart way out front, followed by Dungey who is 5 seconds in front of RV. Chad Reed is 10 seconds behind 3rd place. Trey Canard in 5th, Windham in 6th, Tedesco 7th. Lap 18 Trey Canard closes in on Reed.
The winner of the St Louis Supercross Main Event goes to James Sterwart, Dungey in 2nd, with Villopoto rounding out the podium with 3rd. Chad Reed finishes in 4th, followed by Canard 5th, Windham 6th, Millsaps 7th, Tedesco 8th, Stroupe 9th, and Andrew Short rounding out the top 10.
