New Supercross Series in Brazil!

In Brazil, the all time greatest ever soccer player Pele is investing in a new Supercross Series named after his company ‘Pele Pro’. Responsible for this new enterprise is his son, Edinho who also played for the Santos Soccer Team as a goal keeper during the 90′s. Edinho is a big fan of motorcycling racing, and since he retired from professional soccer he has been riding and racing in local races.
‘Pele Pro’ has signed a 3 year contract to produce and promote the Brazilian Supercross series. The 2002 championship will have 6 rounds in the categories of 80,cc 125cc and 250cc/Open. The events will be broadcast on national television, with 80 and 125 highlights, and the enitre 250/Open race.
The winners of this first round were Rafael Zenni (80), Roosevelt Assuncao (125) and Fabio Correa (250).
