Hepler, Carmichael take Suzuki to the top in New York.
250: RC won the overall again. He led the first moto, fell, came back to pass James Stewart for the lead, and then they collided. RC got up and eventually finished the moto in 2nd position. He dominated the second moto.
Kevin Windham scored his first moto win of the year by taking the first moto. He finished second to Carmichael in the second moto, taking second overall.
Chad Reed finished third overall with finishes of 3/3.
Notes: James Stewart led the first moto after Ricky Carmichael crashed. RC came back to pass James for the lead, and then the two of them collided, putting both on the ground. RC got up, finished second, Stewart, hitting his head hard would not finish the race. Kawasaki thought it best that Stewart did not start the second moto. In celebration of Yamaha’s 50th anniversary, Yamaha outfitted their bike’s with yellow and black plastic. They looked sweet. Lap times on the world famous Unadilla circuit averaged just over 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
125: Broc Hepler swept both motos. Hurray for him! Suzuki team-mate Davi Millsaps finished in the runner-up position with finishes of 2/4. Ivan Tedesco was third with 5/2.
Notes: Mike Brown finished 6th overall. Mike Alessi finished 7th overall. Grant Langston finished 18th overall. The points show Brown leading with 223 points, second is Tedesco with 207, third is Alessi with 187, and fourth is Langston with 172.
