Namur – one word says it all
Published June 2nd, 2004
One word says it all to an avid motocross fan: Namur.
The famous Citadelle circuit overlooks the town of Namur in Belgium. They’ve been having races there since the 40′s. The track starts at the top of the fortification in an arena built in the 13th century. Then it heads into the trees, the track very narrow at times. The track drops out onto pavement at the bottom, up a jump in front of an outdoor cafe, and onto a cobblestone road.
It’s a very special place, and very unique to motocross.
