MX en Mexico

7am Saturday. It was my first weekend off from supercross since the beginning of the year. My kids and I had loaded up our bikes, and started driving south towards the Mexico/USA border. We were heading to Too Much Fun’s Mini Motocross series, which was being held inside the Horse Race Track at Caliente in downtown Tijuana.
Mr. Jorge Hank owns the Caliente facility. We were lucky enough to have a private tour afterwards of the entire compound. It’s amazing. Mr. Hank is a true lover of animals, and besides owning many thorough-bred horses, he takes care of an incredible array of animals.
Armando Carrasco is the man behind Too Much Fun and the Mini Motocross series. He’s been involved in putting on events for a long time. You can learn more about his company at this link – www.toomuchfun.com.mx
Saturday was racing. Sunday I did a motocross school. Racing and riding in Mexico is different. It reminds me of the 70′s. It’s laid-back, and pure fun. Too much fun!
