Motocross of Nations – 2013 Race to be held in USA

Published September 25th, 2010

The 2010 Red Bull Motocross of Nations is underway at Thunder Valley MX Park in Lakewood, Colorado (near Denver). This is the biggest motocross race of the year, each year held in a different country, and 2010 marks the third time ever the event has been held in the USA.

Supercross.com will soon have lots of photos and video of the event starting from this past Thursday, with Amanda’s interview of Mr. Giuseppe Luongo, President of Youthstream. (Youthstream is the company that runs the Motocross World Championship Series, and the Motocross of Nations, along with other properties), the Red Bull athlete get-together from Thursday night, and much from Friday’s press conference and rider interviews.

In the meantime, let’s start with some ‘news’. Mr Luongo announced at the opening press conference that the 2013 Motocross of Nations will return to the USA. The venue of the race will most likely be announced Sunday evening. Much more coming …

Below is video of Mr. Luongo with today’s announcement about the 2013 Motocross of Nations to be held in the USA. Then you’ll see the end of the press conference with the photo op of AMA CEO Rob Dingman, Thunder Valley MX Park owner David Claybaugh, FIM Motocross Commission President Dr. Wolfgang Srb, and Mr. Giuseppe Luongo.
