Mammoth Mountain Motocross

The Mammoth motocross is in the same area as the world famous Mammoth ski resort. Mammoth is a small town way up in the Sierra mountains of California. This was the 34th annual edition of this classic event. What makes this event so great? The scenery! It’s a typical alpine valley with gorgeous views, evergreen trees, and a motocross track cut into the side of it!
Below are some photos and results. But this race is not about results. It’s about being there!!!

Jeremy McGrath raced in three pro classes – The Open class on Friday, the 125 class on Saturday, and the 250 class on Sunday. He fell in the Open race, and eventually finished 14th. He came back with a vengeance onSaturday and Sunday to win the 125′s and 250′s.
Fans went crazy, women swooned, school girls screamed – MALCOLM McCASSY!!!
