This was my first time going to Mammoth. I had heard about it for years, with so many people telling me ‘You gotta go to Mammoth dude! It’s awesome! It’s like a moto ritual that you have to do at least once in your life!’ (And there are some people that have been at every event since it’s existence starting in 1968!)



Mammoth is unique. It’s not just the track. It’s the drive up there (usually done with family and/or friends), the town (a small, beautiful mountain community), and the scenery (the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains of California). It’s also the camaraderie between everyone there, the track (perfectly manicured, winding thru the pine trees high up in the mountains), and of course, the fun factor of everything put together.
