The Nationals return to Colorado … Tedesco controls 125 class, Carmichael dominates 250′s
250: Ricky Carmichael with a double win. Win win win, that’s all he ever does ; ) Kevin Windham finished runner up to RC in each moto. Chad Reed went 3/3.
125: Ivan Tedesco owned the 125 class today: two motos = two wins for Ivan! And, Ivan has taken over the points lead from Mike Brown as well (257 to 250)! Second place went to Andrew Short – he finished runner-up to Tedesco in each moto. Third place was Josh Grant with 4/5 finishes. Mike Alessi went 6/4, Broc Hepler 9/3, Thomas Hahn 5/7, Mike Brown 7/8, and Grant Langston 3/19 (a fall in the second moto).
Notes: The AMA has announced the US team for the 2005 Motocross des Nations in France. It will be: Roger De Coster team manager, Ricky Carmichael, Kevin Windham, and Mike Brown. James Stewart did not race. His crash last weekend at Unadilla has caused some light headed-ness, so as a precaution doctors instructed him to sit out this race. Lap times today averaged just over 2 minutes 20 seconds.
