DC WELCOMES TREY CANARD TO ITS MOTOCROSS TEAM

October 7, 2010 – Huntington Beach, CA – DC is pleased to welcome professional motocross athlete Trey Canard to the DC family. Trey joins DC’s elite motocross team which includes Travis Pastrana, Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Robbie Maddison, Nate Adams, Jolene Van Vugt, Davi Millsaps, Josh Hill, Tommy Searle, Ian Trettel, as well as AM’s Chase Bell, Zack Bell, and Adam Cianciarulo.

“I’m very excited to be a part of such an iconic brand,” said Trey. “Many of the greatest names in motocross have been a part of this brand over the years, and to now be a part of that, its just awesome!”

First jumping on a bike at age three, Trey, now 20, spent nearly his entire childhood riding motorcycles in Oklahoma. After earning multiple amateur titles, Trey burst onto the professional motocross scene in 2007 and had many of the industry’s best taking notice. He continued to impress when he made his pro Supercross debut in 2008 racing like a seasoned veteran along with some of the top racers in the world. He took the Monster Energy AMA Supercross East Lites Championship that year and has never looked back.

“We are really excited to add a great talent such as Trey to our Moto team,” said Brian Cassaro, DC’s Action Sports Marketing Director. “We look forward to supporting him as he starts his 450 career next season in both the AMA Supercross and Outdoor Series.”

This past season proved to be another great one for Trey, with his list of accomplishments including; Monster Energy AMA Supercross West Lites – 3rd place, Monster Energy AMA Supercross Rising Star Award, Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Lites Champion, and Motocross of Nations – Team Champion, 3rd Place MX2 Class.
