Ricky Carmichael keeps his win streak alive, Mike Alessi prevails …

250: What can you say about Ricky Carmichael, except that he is the best ever. He went 1/1 for the win today, and that keeps his 2 year outdoor motocross win streak alive. Kevin Windham went 2/2 for second overall. Ernesto Fonseca had finishes of 8/3 for third overall.

Notes: Chad Reed is out for the rest of the series as a result of surgery on his hand. James Stewart returned to racing, finishing third in the first 250 moto. Unfortunately, he fell in the second moto and DNF. Ryan Hughes is now riding an RMZ450 in the 250 class.

125: The 125 class continues to be very exciting each week. Mike Alessi won his second career overall with moto finishes of 1/2. Broc Hepler finished second overall – he came from deep in the pack to finish 3rd in the first moto, and rode hard in the second moto to finish 1st. Andrew Short finished 3rd with finishes of 4/4. Ivan Tedesco leads the points with 366, Alessi second with 323, and Andrew Short third with 317.

Notes: It rained in the morning, but cleared up for the races. Lap times averaged 2 minutes 20 seconds.
