Grand Prix of Portugal – Agueda – can anyone stop the KTM on-slaught of Cairoli and Herlings in MX1 and MX2? No! In today’s MX1 Qualifying Race, 5-time World Motocross Champion, and series points leader Tony Cairoli is the winner! In MX2 – it’s Jeffrey Herlings on top!

Unfortunately, two riders are out of this race. In MX1, Monster Yamaha’s Steven Frossard is out for the season with knee surgery. And in MX2, American Michael Lieb is at least out of this race, with a potential case of Epstein-Barr virus – something that saps energy.

MX2 – Max Anstie took 11th today.

MX1 – Besides Tony, Clement and Christophe the top three today, D. Philippaerts was 12th, Evgeny Bobryshev only completed four laps, and Ken de Dycker only completed three laps.
