2012 FIM World Motocross – Round 13 – Great Britain – Qualifying

World Motocross Champion Tony Cairoli leads a Red Bull KTM 1-2-3 sweep in MX1 qualifying, and Jeffrey Herlings leads another Red Bull KTM 1-2 in the MX 2 Qualifying Race. American Zachary Osborne third in MX2. The FIM Motocross World Championships head to Great Britain!!

MX2 – Jeffrey Herlings (Netherlands) is doing to the MX 2 class what Tony Cairoli is doing to the MX1 – dominating. He won today’s Qualifying Race over team-mate Jeremy van Horebeek (Belgium) by over 15 seconds. Third place went to American Zachary Osborne. Another American has rejoined the world championship tour – Michael Leib – he qualified 17th. Max Anstie was only able to complete seven laps of this 11 lap race, officially qualifying for tomorrow’s MX GP in 35th.
MX1 – Italian Tony Cairoli, the defending World Champion, won today’s Qualifying Race for tomorrow’s Grand Prix of Great Britain, besting KTM team-mate Max Nagl (Germany) and Ken de Dycker (Belgium). Russian Evgeny Bobryshev qualified 14th, and Frenchman Christophe Pourcel was only able to complete five laps, officially qualifying 29th.
