Chad Reed said afterwards “It’s a pretty good feeling to get the win, I had to try to get a good start but at the same time stay safe. I got to the front but had to take my goggles off as the lights were a lot lower than I am used to. It was a tough race out there, especially getting past the lappers. I want to thank everyone for sticking around in the rain, it was a great crowd.”
