The 2010 Motocross of Nations will be held for the third time ever in the USA, this coming September just outside of Denver in Lakewood, Colorado. The Motocross of Nations is the biggest and most prestigious motocross event of the year, with each country sending it’s top three racers to compete as National teams.
Some call it the ‘Olympics of Motorcycling’, but we think of it more like the World Cup. Which country will emerge victorious after the battle?
There are plenty of great racers to watch. Although the national teams have yet to be selected, we present to you six riders that we feel will be there, will be fun to watch, and each of them from a different country. Each has his own unique style … his own unique personality … and we feel are going to be very exciting to watch!
Today we start with the 2009 AMA Western Regional Supercross Champion, the 2009 AMA 250 Motocross Champion, the 2010 AMA / FIM World Supercross Champion, and the rider currently leading the AMA 450 MX class: Ryan Dungey – USA
Video of Ryan racing his Suzuki RMZ-450 at last year’s ‘Nations’ in Italy, which Team USA won.
