2008 FIM Junior World Motocross Championships

On August 9 & 10, at the sandy circuit of Kamperweg, in Heerde, Netherlands, the FIM held their 2008 Junior World Motocross Championships.



These junior championships have two classes: 85cc and 125cc. Riders come from all over the world. The minimum age is 12, and the maximum age to compete is 18. They ride not only for individual performance, but also for their country and team.

In the ‘Nations Cup’ scoring, Holland came out ahead of the UK and France.



Next year the “FIM Junior Motocross World Championship” takes place in Taupo, New Zealand.
