2008 European Supercross Championship information

Nine rounds – Opening event is in Milan, on the 19th and 20th of September, at the The Assago DatchForum
Bilbao (Spain), on 12nd October, and one week later (on 17th and 18th October) to Marseille (France), where there will be another two-days race event. On 8th of November back to Milan, at the Motolive Area of the 2008 EICMA fair. The huge dome of Genoa, the temple of the European Supercross, will host the seventh round. The final event is in Munich, Germany on 19th and 20th of December.
American supercross riders Rob Kiniry (Yamaha – Magic Bike), Ryan Beat (Yamaha – Magic Bike), Josh Hansen (Honda – Moto Style) and Zach Osborne (Yamaha – Cross Line) will be challenged by the best European Supercross specialists, as Benjamin Coisy (France, Honda – Martin Racing), Fabien Izoird (France, Suzuki – Import Cross), Antoine Meo (France, Husqvarna – CH Racing), the Spanish champion Joan Cros and riders from Italy.
Also includes Freestyle acrobats will exhibit and jump, flying inside the Datchforum from the iron launch pads and showing their spectacular tricks. The Daboot Gang, represented by Massimo Bianconcini and Vanni Oddera, will be against the Swiss rider Matt Rebeaud and the Spanish rider Dani Torres, considered as “guru” of the worldwide Freestyle even for their strange gear.
For the first time, there will be a new class, reserved only to 85cc and 2 stroke engines, by which crazy teenagers will take part in the first edition of the SXJ (Supercross Junior).
Following the afternoon practice sessions, the event schedule will get to the heart of the racing since 9pm, when the opening ceremony will take place.
