The Anaheim 2 Supercross for 2008 was known for a lot of things. James Stewart announced he couldn’t compete due to a knee injury. David Bailey, injured in early 1987, rode a lap with Rick Johnson in celebration & remembrance of their 1986 battle at Anaheim. Ricky Carmichael and Jeremy McGrath rode a couple of laps with Chad Reed in pre race introductions. Chad Reed was the winner in the 450 Supercross class, and extended his points lead in the championship chase. Ryan Dungey won the 250 Supercross Western Division Lites main event, and leads that series.
