2004 recap photos

There are two major series in the USA, one for supercross, and one for motocross. They are both completed for this year.



Chad Reed, Ricky Carmichael, Ivan Tedesco, and James Stewart are the champions.



Supercross is primarily indoors on man-made tracks, starting in January and going into May. Motocross is outdoors on more natural terrain tracks, running from May into September. 28 races total.



5 Main Championships are decided each year: 125 West, 125 East, 250 Supercross, 125 Outdoors, and 250 Outdoors. That would be Ivan Tedesco, James Stewart, Chad Reed, James Stewart and Ricky Carmichael respectively.
